Blanche, 2010
Blanche is a wave driven acoustic environment whose sound chamber is derived from the hull of a Blanchard built Junior Knockabout, a class of sailboat built on Lake Union for many years by the Blanchard Boat Company. The Center for Wooden Boats provided the boat hull and worked with the artists to prepare it for installation.
