A Way of Seeing as it Happens, 2013

A Way of Seeing as it Happens is a camera obscura commissioned by the Exploratorium’s Fisher Bay Observatory.  It consists of a tall canvas structure, an optical system using 17th and 18th century technology to capture panoramic real time images of both San Francisco Bay and the surrounding cityscape and a table which provides an image viewing surface. Collaborators include Cris Benton, Cate Leger and Karl Wanaselja.
